KMØ, an atypical place near Colmar
KMØ is the ecosystem dedicated to the digital transformation of industry, unique in the Grand Est region. It brings together companies (industry and digital) as well as training and startups.
This ecosystem came into being in 2019 after the complete rehabilitation of the former SACM plant. In the neighborhood, a former foundry has already been transformed into a university campus a few years ago, and the Maison de l’industrie was built in 2020. The Fonderie district has the advantage of being a little out of the way and close to nature (greenery and canal on both sides), while being close to downtown.
